I have been having problems with my right shoulder as some of you may remember. I went to an orthopedic and she took X-rays and seen that I have Arthritis, tendenitis(sp?) and bursitis, also an arthritic cyst. Everyday I am in pain. I have a hard time sleeping because no matter how I sleep it hurts. So, the ortho gave me an anti-inflammatory med. I told her I was allergic to Motrin and she gave me another anti-flammatory but in a different class, but that turned out to make me allergic too. I ended up in the hospital the next day after taking it. Now my ortho wants me to have a MRI. Well thats all great but it will take some time because my insurance company need the notes from my visit with the ortho and the ortho first has to send them to my primary doc and they send the ortho notes to my ins. company and they have to get an authorization to get the MRI. This is soooooooo fraustrating Grrrrrrrr. My ortho wouldn't give me pain meds but the ER doc gave me some Percocet because he knows how much pain I am in. I am only taking

I went thru intense shoulder pain, pain pills, shots, physical therapy, with my shoulder for OVER one year..it was dx as frozen shoulder..it was not gettting any better ..I finally had to have surgery..after about 6 months of rehab AFTER surgery..my shoulder was finally beginning to feel normal again....

Make sure you have a doctor that knows what he/she is doing..an MRI is the best test to find out what is having with your shoulder too. Xrays dont show everything...

Shoulder pain is very PAINFUL..and it takes a LONG time to RECOVER! Best wishes..

Hi Sherry,

Thanks for posting to me, that was nice. You understand the pain I am in. I try to act like I am not in as much pain as I am sometimes. But there are times when I will cry because the pain is so bad. I was so mad my orthopedic didn't give me pain meds, I had to get them from the ER doc. When I am in pain I want help with it. I am hoping I will not need surgery but I could. The doc said we will have to see.

I don't think I have ever met you on this board. How are you? Do you have bipolar or do you know someone who does? I have been diagnosed for I think about 4 years now. I have actually lost track of time. It could be more or less time but it is close to that. If you want to, tell me more about you.

Nice meeting you!
