Okay, so I leave work and get on my way to the car place...my dh had been sick for about 5 days and finally went to the doctor...welllllll, i get a phone call from the nurse at the doctor's office that they took my dh by ambulance to the ER...his blood pressure was WAY elevated, the left side of his face was numb, and his left eye was "droopy" and they thought seriously that he was having/had a stroke. SO, of course, I freaked out...drove by the car place, turned around, went to the ER. We were there for about 9 hours. My dh did not have a stroke, thank God. He DOES however have Bell's Palsy. I don't know much about it...other than its brought on by stress (caused by me, most probably) and that it lasts for about 12 weeks. They are putting him on Prednisone, strong antibiotics, pain meds, and something else...can't remember what. I got about 3 hours of sleep and that was pure exhaustion. I broke down once, when I went home and picked my ds up and left him there...I was just done.

THEN, of all things, on the way home with dh from the hospital, I get pulled by a city police officer for my registration being invalid...which it is, and I knew it. So, I was honest with him from minute one...told him I had no current registration or insurance...he was VERY nice...only gave me ONE ticket for the expired registration for $80 and NOTHING for the rest. THEN, get this...about 5 minutes after that, I get pulled AGAIN by a state trooper who wasn't very nice...I explained to him that I just got a ticket for the same thing...he took my license, then gave me this warning thing, said he "put me in the system" and i had to park my car or else. Whatever. The city officer gave me 30 days to take care of it. I have to drive my car til I either get a new one, or pay the fines and get the registration next Tuesday. The state trooper didn't have to be so condescending and I was completely pissed.

Anyway, so this morning...I get up...quite agitated...if anything, i am MORE manic then yesterday...get started to work...check the water in my car (it has a small hose leak) it was okay, but i topped it off, just to be sure. But, I didn't put the cap on tightly enough, so the water steamed out. It ran hot. So I made it to this store that has a reputation for being in a "drug zone". I am not scared of that, but of course, that's my luck. I waited for the car to cool down, and guess what? I left my water container full of water on my counter at HOME! So, I don't have ANY money...and have no idea what to do. Then I remember that I have dh's wallet and it had $3.00 in it...so I go into the store and buy a gallon jug of water. This guy standing outside of the store was completely flirting with me, and held the door open for me, and all that...but he DID help me with my car...and then he asked me out!!! He told me how beautiful I was, blah blah blah...I told him I couldn't do that, as I was married. He said that he was just glad that he was able to help me out this morning...and get this...he just got out of "lock up". HA.

Anyway...that's my story.

If I have any luck at all, its bad.

Today, I have to call my dad, borrow money AGAIN which I told him I didn't want to do, but he said I would do it for him or anyone if I could, and not to worry about it...but I do. Go get my dh's rx's...then I am going to the car place after work.

Oh, and it was pouring rain this morning when all this car stuff was going on.

AAAAAACK!

(((((((((((keli)))))))))))))) i'm so sorry about your dh, but it is NOT your fault. so push that thought right out of your head!!!! your dh loves you and the things he does for you is not out of oblligation, but out of love. i wish i had someone in my life like that.

as for the car and the cops..........state boys can be real pains. i've always had better luck with county and town cops myself. of course, most of the town boys i know, as i graduated with half of them;) lol!

i understand COMPLETELY about how you feel having to borrow money from your dad again. i had to laugh when i read about how he told you that you would do the same thing for anybody else. that is so me it's not even funny! i hear that from my tdoc everytime i say something negative about myself with situations like that. it's enough to drive me mad........well more mad than i already am:)

i hope you have success today at the car place. that will help you out i'm sure. i'll talk to you soon.

love you!
