I don't know if this counts as a trick or tip or not but I get up in the morning and put my exercise clothes on and exercise right after taking my son to school.
i keep my feet moving when i am doing dishes or laundry, making the bed or dinner... my feet are moving constantly when i am doing household tasks.
when i am stationary and have to be, like brushing my teeth or scouring a pan, i sneak in some clenches and if i can manage it, maybe a lunge or two..

I park further away in the parking lot, walk the stairs, take mini breaks at work and walk! Some
I just discovered the Leslie Sansone DVD's, and that has become my new solution to squeezing in exercise.
I wake up at 5AM and exercise at least 30 minutes before getting ready for work and getting the kids off to school.
I keep my bathing suit and workout clothes in the car so that if I have free ttime I can stop at the Y.
