m late...I just realized this the other day, confirmed it today.
I just started using b/c pills last month..was having a hard time on the patch.

yeah...I'm thinking about that too....wish I had enough cash..then I could go in and out real quick.
I can't decide if I should grab it on the way home or wait for dh to get home.
I'm not sure what the weather is like at my house...its rained here at work pretty much all day.

If you buy a test, it guarantees the arrival of AF (except for 3 cases in my life), imo. If it would make you feel better, buy it on the way home. If for some reason you were pg, know that it would be God's plan and he would get you guys through it. (trust me, it happened to me at about the same place you are).

that I can have a half hour to cry, and cry hard then get it over with for a while.,
Then I put on a brave face and make some more plans, then maybe see a funny flick, and take a walk in a park. I found that being around creative people always helps.
A little background here. I am 58 years young, my hubby is 64.8 years young. We couldn't
conceive. We tried and tried for 15 years. I cried every time my sister and girlfriends
became pregant. Eventually the docs say we couldn't and at that time there was no other options. So we became great baby setters, and lovers of children. We also grew to appreciate that we enjoyed children and when we needed to be alone or go on vacations and/or take care of important things we gave them back to Mamas and Dads. We couldn't
adopt because at that time your income must be stable and we should not have any large debts,or bankruptcy. This we had a big problem.
We have since matured and have many young friends and enjoy being Uncle and Auntie to many wonderful friends. P.S.My periods lasted so long. Sometimes I couldn't get
out of bed. The pain was so very real. I had hesteroctmy about 5 years ago.
The world of medicine has come along way.
What I am saying is don't let any problem stop you from doing what you must or finding out
why.
My my pen to your heart.
right?
(btw i've had my period for like 3 weeks now...not heavy just a trickle...but isn't THAT weird?think the meds might be messing us up?)
are you SURE none of your meds interfere with the pill?
& just out of curiosity, isn't the patch the same thing as the pill, just not having to remember to take it every day?aren't all the new hormone based methods the same as the pill?i always wanted to ask.
on the other hand, nerves don't help your situation...so take a deep breath.
it is perfectly normal to miss a period or be late especially when you change bc methods.
on the OTHER hand...ignore what i said...buying a test IS a surefire way to bring on your period.
also...you said you wouldn't mind another...noone is EVER exactly ready....but..most likely youre just late...do your boobs hurt?do you have a roadmap of blue veins on your chest?well...that was always my first clue*blush*
(When I'm functioning well) I'm a nurse, and I know that stress will delay the oncoming of Aunt Flo. Also, i forget what you said 100% but did you say you were on the patch....
anyways, i wish you good luck....
