my mom wanted me to fly to az to visit her w/ my kids(during easter week) & it turns out i can't.
actually the truth is,between us,i PROBABLY could, but it's production week of the show i'm doing & i personally cannot stand people who think they are so indispensible that they split for the most difficult week of production.if i made a commitment i should stick to it.
SO,mom says to send the 2 oldest on the plane ALONE & she'll be there to meet them.the oldest is 10 & the 9 year old is not only a mommy sticker...she is terrified to fly.
i think my mother is imagining life in the past.
what do you think(btw..i said no.)

NO way--even if the one weren't a "mommy-sticker"
NO WAY !!!!
God could not be everywhere, so
I wouldnt let them do it either, especially with the one DD who is afraid to fly. I used to do it all the time when I was young to go visit my dad ( I was 7 or 8 and my sister was 5-6, but that was 20 yrs ago. Nowadays its not safe even with the stewardess watching out for them, they do a great job of it, never letting them out of their sight and even walking them directly to the gate and boarding them on the plane, but since she is afraid to fly and you never know what could happen, I wouldnt chance it.
