When you know you're coming down with something, or you are truly sick, have you ever gone ahead and gone to work?

Well, I know I'm going to jinx myself by saying this, but I really don't get sick often. When I do, I try to stay home and take care of myself because doing otherwise just prolongs the illness.
However, I admit I have pushed on occasion and have ventured out in public when I should have been home in bed sipping chicken soup. I just hope I didn't make anyone else sick when I did that.
I hope you stay well and that you didn't jinx yourself.
I've worked at jobs where the pressure of a deadline was so great that it was almost impossible to take time off because I was sick. Those were terrible times, and in retrospect, what was the point? The world is still turning now. Besides, I probably picked up those bugs from people who should have stayed home rather than infecting the rest of us, meaning, me.
