i hope you are feeling a little better today. i think the reason the week flew by a little quicker might have to do with it staying lighter outside longer.....maybe? i don't know.
i went to pdoc yesterday and she added klonopin to my regimen. she said that it is a good med for anxiety and it's sedating so i should be able to calm back down as well as sleep at night! i said if it works, sign me up. i took my first one last night and slept better, but it still took me a while to shut down. i'm thinking if i take it earlier in the evening that should fix that problem. and the one thing i like about it is that she said i only need to take it when my anxiety starts climbing. it's not an everyday med.
as for plans for the weekend, not much really. work on homework, go to my alanon meeting, go to lunch afterwards with some friends.......well, they eat while i have coffee. lol! other than that, just the typical mundane stuff like laundry and maybe rent a movie to watch. my one main goal is to stay away from my mother and xh. they can trigger my anxiety like nobody's business. oh, and play with the puppy;)
plans for the weekend...my nephew has a birthday party and thats it. The kids are in trouble so they arent going anywhere and DH has to work so I am not going anywhere. I am gonna finish laundry and work on a project for school and read some books is my plan.
Have another embroidery machine class, but thankfully I don't have to take my machine to this one--it's just about hooping, so all I have to take are hoops.
the puppy is keeping me very busy! he's still teething and chewing up anything he can get ahold of. he has a particular taste for electrical cords and paper ~ UGH! he'll chew on his rawhides, but only as a last resort. and that's only when i can keep my other dog "alpha dog" from stealing them. it's a regular comedy of errors. but the kids and i are doing our level best to keep up with him.
as for my mother, she's in one of her "up my butt" moods and it's driving me up the friggin wall! i am afraid to take the klonopin right now because i'm not sure just how sedating it is. i don't know if it was being combined with the zyprexa or if it made me tired on its own. and having to go back to work in a little while, i don't want to risk it. but i've got the weekend to figure it out.
xh is ignoring me i think. YAY! he can keep on ignoring me as long as he sends the kids' support checks on time. the less i have to deal with him the better. but if he's planning another visit like he did earlier in the week, i'd better know about it beforehand.
i hope you have a great weekend, and if you're having 70 degree weather, send some of it my way....pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaase:)
Going out to dinner with my one and only real life girlfriend tonight.
Babysitting my niece tommorrow. Depending on how I am feeling, I may take all four of them to the Y to go swimming. They love when I do that, but it is a ton of work getting them all to the pool and out of the pool normally with at least the 2 yo screaming he doesn't want to leave. Dh works, not that he would go anyway.
hey donna ~
