a couple days without dh will do for my mood, lol. Actually, we seem to be doing better too, we will see what happens when he gets home today.

I actually had my first appointment with my new tdoc (online) last night and loved it. I like it so much better than face to face and I was able to be much more open. She seemed to be a much better tdoc too than the one I met with face to face. She asked just the right questions and pushed just the right amount. It was nothing like the appointments i used to have with tdoc which I hated and nothing got accomplished. This was like chatting with a friend. I feel like this might help where the other tdoc did not.

I meet with pdoc later today for my 1 month appointment. Don't think anything will really change as i think it is my life causing my moods and not my bipolar right now. Does that make sense?

How is everyone else today?

Oh Missy,

I'm so happy to hear you are doing better. I'm trying. SOOOOO trying to fight the depression...I know it goes away...It just feels like it doesn't when you're in the middle of it, ya know? I wish I could have THAT kind of therapy...but I doubt my ins pays for that. Oh well. I'm really happy for you. You hang in there with it! You sound much stronger, and that is what you need to be!

Actually, you may want to talk to your pdoc a bit about what you're going through with 'life' stuff...see if u need a meds adjustment to compensate...just in case something changes again...so u don't get to that place again. Who knows? You're on such a low dose of Topamax. But, if you are stable, then don't do anything to upset the apple cart.

Love you.

Donna - have you thought about allergies fo your kids and yourself? I know that is why I need the advil cold and sinus a lot as do my kids. We all have to take prescription allergy meds throughout the year but they make a world a difference. I had to start mine back up a week ago. The kids are ok without theres so far. Just a suggestion.

How are you at work without coffee? How do you make the drive? I don't drink coffee, I start the day with diet coke but I could not leave the house without it, lol. Escpecially when I am getting no sleep. I hope you got some food now and some coffee and are feeling better.

Love you.

My insurance won't pay for e-therapy either, but they don't pay for much of in person therapy. This actually works out cheaper for us. I pay $30 for 30 minutes of chat time. Or we can do email therapy where you pay by the word. Plus she and I emailed (at no charge) prior to the start of therapy for all the background information so that did not take time up during the session. It is costly, but right now i need it. I hope to only do it 1 time every other week but we will see what works out.

http://www.etherapycenter.com/credentials.htm#kimberly

This is my therapist. She seems to have all the credentials. Her partner is her husband. If and when, my dh agrees to it, he will take on my dh for marriage counseling and we will eventually all meet up together in a chat room.
