Well, the safest way is to lose upto 2 lbs a week. So you can lose 26 lbs by your deadline safely. I'm not telling that you 'can't' lose all the 30 lbs, but that will be a little bit out of the 'safe zone'. Can you let go that last 4 lbs? I don't think they will make a very huge difference in your appearence.
But hey, go all the way if you must. I've seen people losing even 3 lbs a week.
If you eat really clean and work hard, I don't see any reason why you can't achieve your goal. Please don't go for any harsh ways (like diet pills)or fad diets. They will do more harm than good in the long run.
Good luck with your journey.

I agree with Dior, but usually the first week you lose more because of water weight, so you might be able to lose 5-6 lbs the first week.

Well. I lost 25lbs from April to September of last year, so I think you could probably do it. Keep in mind, I logged EVERYTHING that I ate and went to the gym 6-7 times a week for an hour. You can do it, but it'll be a commitment.

I lost 25 pounds from October 13th to December 11th so it's possible, but I dropped my caloric intake to 1300-1400 and was walking 30 minutes to an hour a day.

I would stay away from pills or fad diets though. Not only aren't they healthy, but you'll end up putting the weight back on. If you truly want to lose the weight, change your eating and exercise habits and it will come off and stay off. :) Good luck!!

You're absolutely right! Fad diets, pills, and other gimmicks will lead to you re-gaining the weight. Trust me, I've tried 'em.

I finally lost weight the "right" way (eating better, exercising, etc) and I'm managing to keep it off even while I'm injured. You'd be amazed at how simply changing your eating habits can change your life! :)

Absolutely! It is all about energy in and energy out. Eat less calories and exercise more. I am a health coach and that is what I do, help people lose weight and change their lifestyle so that they can keep it off.
