I was reading the post on angry outbursts and she said(sorry I forgot who wrote it already)that she was trying to watch a tv show and do all these other things. I have a great solution for trying to watch TV and do a zillion other things. TIVO. Its like a VCR except it doesnt need a video tape or DVD recorder. You can program in your favorite shows and it records them automatically and keeps them until you can watch them and delete them, and if you want to record a whole season of shows then you just tell it to do that and it records all the episodes you want. I dont watch any TV at all till after the kids go to bed, then I can watch Dr. Phil or Oprah or any other show that I missed that day or the day before or the week before even. Its kind of expensive but if you ask your DH for it, he might get it for like Christmas or something because its something technical and manly...LOL. My DH loves it. Its kind of expensive, but if you get it through the website, then its like $200 but they give you $150 in rebates, or they were doing that a month or so ago anyways. You have to pay a service fee either $300 for lifetime service or $15 a month for it.
Cable companies have the same thing its called DVR from our cable company. Some satellite companies have it too. Its super great and I love it...haha. This looks like the best deal, you get a box and service for 1 year for $155. http://www.tivo.com/2.1.1.0.ws.asp
Just thought I would mention that to yall to save some frustration
