Have you looked for any local babywearing support groups? Maybe you could try some slings if you joined them? Or maybe a consignment or other maternity/baby store?

Hi Wendy and thanks! I don't know of where to find one around here. I rarely see anyone carry their babies when I'm out so I don't know where to start! I'm already a freak to some friends since I want natural birth too! LOL I'll keep a look out and see whats there.

If there is a La Leche League group in your area, I've been told that sometimes you can find women at those meetings who are babywearers also and maybe they can show you some of their carriers.

There is also a website called the baby wearer that has a lot of useful information on it comparing different types of carriers and what not, and they have a for sale or trade board where you can buy used carriers (still in good shape) for cheaper than what they are brand new.
