wow, i like these new emoticons;) i've been crazy busy with this nice weather. i've been catching up on yard work during my mid-day breaks. in addition to that i've been in the process to switching schools and that's been migraine causing. my mood has been a little down but better than it has been lately. i went out last night to a "live sit in jam session" with my 16 yo dd. she and i were among the 10% of people under the age of 60! we hung out for a bit, listened to some good music and headed home. just getting out for a change........without my mother..........was therapeutic. in fact, it was my tdoc who suggested i check this thing out. guess she'll be pleased to know i took her advice. dd said it's not something she'd like to do every weekend, but would like to go again sometime. i figure that gives the two of us something that we can do together. i have baseball and softball with my other dd and ds so now she and i have something. even if it is just every now and then.

anyway, today (saturday) was opening day for my son's baseball team and he got to pitch.......he's the best pitcher on the team. poor guy's confidence got rocked when he accidentally hit a batter:( he was really upset that it had happened, so the coaches and the team parents made sure he knew it was an accident and that the other boy wasn't hurt. that's what he was worried about. parents told me i'd done a good job raising him if that was what had upset him. that made me feel good to hear. and now i'm off to pick up dd (12) from softball practice. and so the spring sports season begins.

hope everyone is having a good weekend.

hugs,

traci
