He has been extended at least 30 more days in Iraq.
They are also saying they could be staying until Oct. Depends on how things go.
So, the soonest he can be home in end of June, beginning of July, and the latest is Oct. He will also be leaving again in Dec. This time for 6 months minimum. That

Cyn, My heart goes out to you and the girls. My heart is breaking for you. I wish no one ever had to go through any of this. My prayers are with you, the girls and Rick. I wish I had some magical wond that could bring Rick home to his family. I wish I could stop this senseless war. Please keep us posted on how you are doing. God be with you.

Oh honey, I'm so sorry, and yet so proud of you. I could NEVER do what you do. EVER. And I know that first hand because my DH is an ex-military officer. We spent 2 measly years at Ft. Bragg and I was miserable.
I'm sure this is an incredible disappointment to and your girls and I'll be saying prayers for all. I'm just so proud, and so thankful, for beautiful families like yours who are able somehow to make this sacrifice for the country's good.

God could not be everywhere, so
Thank you Mo.

While I don't think we were given the truth going in there, we must now stay the course. It would be irresponsible for us to go in, change things, and bail before they are able to handle things on their own. I am very annoyed that the Iraqis do not seem to be taking the matter of how they want their country to be in their own hands. That they are allowing their countrymen and women to be killed.
The only thing I can think of is it "listen" to me vent. Which
