Doctors SUCK!!!

Well I have been on the phone all moning. I am a MESS. I am crying HYstericly and cna't type. Not one doctor in this dang county can get me in until Aug. I called my GP and left a message. Come to find out my Gp in the group is no longer there. OH GOD. I am used to such better medical care back home in FL. Where am I? In a 3rd world country?

I am so sorry...ugh, the healthcare system is so bad these days....if worse comes to worse, go to the ER, at least you can get your meds there....do you have any kind of walk in clinics anywhere?
Just try to think how nice it will be to have dh home and ALONE in the house !!!
God could not be everywhere, so
i live in ny & it took me almost 6 years to find my current doc..even WHILE seeing therapists(they couldnt find one for me either)
now i found one but can barely afford him.
in the meantime the dr.s i have seen(most still don't take insurance)were..well..insane.
1 fell asleep during my sessions.
1 would talk about my breasts & kept me on the current popular med tho it clearly wasn't working.
1 told me my only problem was that i was a very bad person & didn't respect my h.he also had no tolerance for me complaining about side effects.
finally....one told me i was too sick for her to treat & i should find someone else.
(i asked HER....um..what is it you do for a living?????)
don't be discouraged & know youre not alone.
i know people are tired of me saying this but i pay out of pocket almost 400$ a visit to my pdoc & another 100$ to my tdoc & another 200$ in meds that only last a couple of weeks.
i do it b/c i don't have a choice.
hopefully you will find the best dr. for you soon
((((((((((((((((Jo)))))))))))))))))))) as the others have said, the American health system pretty much sucks. But I agree with Donna. If you need your meds adjusted, go to an urgent care facility or the local ER. They can get you the meds you need.
And enjoy your time with dh. The two of you have the house to yourselves this weekend and that should be relaxing:) Keep us posted.
Hugs,
