My recent somber adventures

I don't know why I didn't post about this before, but things have been crazy. They started on the sixth when I flew out to Phoenix with hubby to make last-minute plans for our church wedding on the thirteenth. My mom was very ill, and it hurt seeing her- we also spent time taking care of her. Our family dog was so sick too that he was crying all the time, we had him put down and that was cry #1. Then the wedding came, and that was great- my mom was there, and my dad, who almost didn't come to the reception, did come and dance with me. We then went on our honeymoon, which wasn't much fun because we were sick in the hotel room most of the time. Then, we got a call to come back early. My mother died on the 18th. We turned around and went back to Phoenix for the funeral. I am still here, but hubby had to go back to Oakville because his bereavement leave is up.

It's hard, but I am doing OK. I think I had a small anxiety attact last night, but it went away. I think overall, I must be stable on my meds to survive all this...

Express.

Beth,

I am so sorry to hear about your mother (and your dog), but am happy (for both of you) that she was able to share your big day.

Hugs,

Marci
