I made it driving to and from doctor appointments. It was hard but I did it.
I went to tdoc today and we called my pdoc on his cell. He said I definately had a manic episode but luckly it wasn't extreme enough to be hospitalized. He still wants me to take the Abilify but during the day now. He cut back the prozac too. He really wants me on Lithium. I went to my GP after my tdoc appt. and my GP said my kidney function test she did in 2005 was fine in order to take Li. I am waiting to talk to my Urologist tomorrow and he will tell me if I can. If he says yes then I will go on Lithium. I better not gain weight...I will not take it if I gain weight. I have just lost 14 lbs in the past 6 weeks and I am not going to go back up because of some med. Yes, I want to feel better but getting fatter will not make me feel better. I see my pdoc Tuesday and I will give him my answer about the Lithium then.
Talk to you all soon
Tina

Tina - I'm glad to hear that you made it to and from your tdoc's office safely:) I hope that your urologist ok's the use of Lithium. My pdoc is still increasing my levels to try to get me to a therapeutic dose, but after about 1 month I haven't gained any weight, in fact, I've lost 5 pounds! So maybe the lithium will have the same effect for you. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
Keep us posted.
Hugs,
Traci
