Well lets see what's new in my world. Dh got home for CA at 4am Saturday morn. The poor bugger is exhausted. He had 4 days of meetings. They gave him a nice offer for his promotion, but he hasn't decided yet. But I think he is leaning towards it. But it is up to him, I support him either way. Dad is out with his girlfriend today. I am hoping he will stay the night at her house, but with my luck he will be home....lol

Hi Jo

I am glad things are leveling out with your meds. Don't forget to get them tommorrow...lol

It has been hot here. The nights have been nice but the days are hot. Mid 80's to in the 90's. I live in Maryland and it is always hot and humid in the summer. Even in the fall it is humid. I hate humidity. I hate summer. I love every season but summer.

Hi Johanna,

Boy, it sounds like you are pretty busy right now! I'm glad to hear that dh is back- I hope the decision-making process on the job is not too hard on him (and you). When you are done with your bathroom, do you want to come and do mine? That is the only room we have not touched. We still need to paint the 3 bedrooms, but that has to wait for the heat to break- I don't want to paint with the house closed up and the air on (we live in PA, too). Fortunately, I got the pool assembled this week so we had a cool spot to go yesterday and today.

Sorry you are having memory problems- that could also be related to an autoimmune disorder. With lupus, "brain fog" is very common. Put that on top of med side effects, and you get a double whammy. It's a shame you can't forget that you have no memory!! I hope that you get your blood tests back soon. I think the first tests I got back took about 10 days. I think the dsDNA is a "send out" test and takes longer to get back. I'm not sure with the RA tests. My routine labs are always back within 4 days. It will be nice when you have a better idea as to what is going on with your body. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Take care!
Peg

I live in FL and it's fricking hot, hot, hot! I have found over the years it's the price I have to pay to have sunshine - not for tanning though, for Seasonal Affective Disorder! I once lived in TN and thought, hey it's the south! But winter was hell for me, that's when I'd lose my mind. We recently remodeled our master bath and I am thrilled with the turnout. It's our "hobby" as our house was built in 1956 and hasn't been updated since '72 so it's been a constant project for the past seven years (and it keeps ongoing, and ongoing, and ongoing...). I look at is as we are paying ourselves whenever you go to sell it. I use to live in England (xh is British) - in Devon (Plymouth) and Buckinghamshire (Marlow) - where's your relatives from (sorry if that's too nosy!)?
Good luck on dh's job and kiss the dogs for me!
Take care, Kelli

My dh hand sanded our wood kitchen cabinets - all told took 6 months (we both work FT). And the mess felt never ending. I live in Melbourne - just east of Winter Park, know exactly where that is! It is nice coming on the board and feeling accepted without the "public" face on. I hope tomorrow is better for you!! Hugs, Kelli
