What silence says
| Thu, 03-10-2011 - 7:34am |
I have wrestled and struggled with my emotions for the past two days, since xAP fished and I got over the angry part. I desperately wanted to respond--to see how he is doing, to offer some comfort, to have my ego stroked. I had to employ the 48 hour rule. I promised myself that much, because there were moments when I really thought I was going to cave.
I have decided to remain silent because this is what silence says:
- It is over.
- I have taken my power back.
- I am no longer

Silence to me, in the very beginning, was protection from myself and from him.
I am done with the drama.
I am in control.
There's nothing left to say.
That it speaks volumes.
Alwayst, good job in waiting it out. The 48 hour rule should apply to everything in life when it comes to making choices and decisions.
Hugs to you,
I am getting stronger
I am in control of my day
I am finding my self worth again
Silence means to me:
Peace
Freedom
Moving on
Letting go
The final act
Sanity
Self Respect
Separation from the drama
Clarity
Empowerment
Committment to myself
Belief that I deserve more
Boundaries
In the beginning, silence was my Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
Always - love this list.
For me silence says I am recomitting to my H.
It means that anxiety is gone.
It means that I am heard without saying a word.. a peep
It means that I can listen, and am forced to, even when I do not want to.
Even on a rough day, I can hear my inner voices steering me out of nonsense.
It's a tool that goe to every aspect of my life, not just getting over an A.
Yo Soy EL Capitan de Mi Vida
Silence says:
-I am worth it
-I am
Silence means to me,
Respecting myself
Self worth
No more drama
Working on forgivness without the madness.
I am so proud of you alwayst, your skills of sitting and reflecting are awsome:-)
