That is so sweet of you to be thinking of me. I am doing ok, I guess. I don't know what is wrong. I am drained and having some health issues going on. I don't know if I have diabetes and my thyroid was high on the last test taken, also, I was talking to my tdoc about some symptoms I am having and she thinks I may be going through perimenopause. I have several symptoms. The biggest one and most intolorable is the hot flashes and sweating. Then it turns into a cold sweat. My hair gets soaked. It is very embarrasing to say the least. I know I am infertile so maybe my hormones are messed up and something is going on there. I see my GP on Wednesday and I have to make an appontment with my GYN next month. I am due for my annual, so I will talk to both of them about it. I get my diabetes test result Wed. I am pretty scared and upset over all this.

I hope you are hanging in there.

Love ya- Tina

being infertile has nothing to do with going thru menopause...you still have hormones, ya know?

can the lith be contributing to all of this?

I didn't mean for it to sound like being infertile has anything to do with menopause. I know it doesn't. But I do know that my hormones that I still have are unbalanced, so maybe it is that and not peri-menopause. I do appreciate your knowledge though. Thank you.

I know my other meds..Prozac, Lamictal do not have anyhting to do with my symptoms. I doubt Lithium does because I asked pdoc and he said no it doesn't. Lithium would cause hypo-glycemia and mine is hyper-glycemia from the blood test but it isn't that high. I am not really worried about that but the diabetes I am. I find out the blood level on Wednesday. I will let you know the results.

I know I am not in menopause but it could be perimenopause. My tdoc just thought it would be good to check out. I looked it up and I do have most of the symptoms. I am not saying I

well if your numbers weren't too high...then you should be fine...pre-diabetic maybe (and I'm about 99% I'm there right now)...so if anything else, we could be buddies and try to help each other eat better, excersize...we can beat it and diabetes will not be in the picture later in life then.....
