1. I am thankful for my children and their health (I'm especially thinking of them today. Yesterday my youngest had tubes put in her ears. She's fine, but I seen several other youngsters in surgery recovery for other types of surgery that were having difficulty. I felt bad for them, but it also made me think of how thankful I am that my children are in good health right now).
2. I am thankful that, for the present, I am in a stable frame of mind. I know that it's temporary, but for now.... I find that the most disconcerting and oddest part of bipolar -- how it messes with your thinking and that it can change your beliefs about yourself.
3. I am thankful that amid all the turmoil in the world, my family is safe. Of course that is a muted thankfulness, because there are lots and lots of families right now that are going through really rough times.
4. I am thankful for this board with offers warm support and good advice to all who need it. :-)
I'm thankful for DD, Jake & baby Bryan--even if the 1st 2 make me want to strangle them regularly.
I'm thankful for organizations, like the Humane Society who went out of their way to get Oreo help--he's doing better although still not out of the woods yet, but without their help would be dead by now.
Oh so thankful for my friends here, who I know I can turn too when things look the bleakest.
1. God
2. My dd
3. My dear dear friends on this board...I love you all
4. My dbf. He is trying to be more affectionate. That makes me happy that he is trying to fulfill my needs.
5. Having AC in this hot hot weather. I HATE SUMMER, because I can't handle the heat, so I am stuck indoors a lot.
6. My dear baby dog. She gives me hugs and kisses all the time.
7. The family I have left.
8. I am thankful for being able to find things to be thankfull for. I am sure there are more things, I just can't think right now of them.
Love you all~Tina
