So I wrote yesterday about my walk around this beautiful city where I used to live, and my reflections on why I was so happy when I ised to live here yet seem to have lost my focus/path/faith in recent years. It was a great way to spend my time and really helped me get some clarity on why I entered the A and what i need to do for myself to have a happier and refocussed life.
BUT....
On my walk back to motel I came across a latin saying on a bridge. Having lived in this town before I have seen it many times and NEVER paid any attention. I thought that seeing it now- after my deep moment of faith and prayer- may be something God wanted me to see.
I recited it the whole way back to hote, logged on EAS, went to bed and promptly forgot it. Only to awaken this morning with a jolt to remember to see what it meant. I googled it.....

We gather strength as we go!!
OMG! Its a great motto for me at this stage in my life. I really struggle with the 'why did the A even have to happen- what purpose did it serve'. And there you go! God sent me a very clear message that .... this too will give me strength.
As I go through life and experience its wonderful highs and lows, the purpose is to make me stronger, make me more experienced, it gives me the gift of... LIFE.... and all that it can offer.
Anyway I really feel (maybe silly I know) that God wahted me to see and remember that slogan. I feel so good at the moment- I just had to tell you.
