Jo,

I'm glad you got to see the new pdoc. Sometimes the initial meeting is hair raising at best. But, in their defense, it's how they get to know you and what's going on with you so they know how to treat you.

Glad you finally got to see new pdoc....I can't think of one that I've ever really liked...so I think its just the way it is.. at least for me.

As far as dss coming to live with you...there does come a time when a boy needs to be with his father...and he's probably at that point.

It's good to be back. Dss will be 15 next month. Dss live in up state NY. Dh was once told that when dss turns 12 he can legally chose where he wants to live. I am just hoping for all of our sakes that dh ex does not make this a big deal and realizes that it's all about the child and not her or her Vengence. Because she would only be hurting dss in the long run. So I am hoping it all works out. It's not like it would be tomorrow. It would be when he comes next summer.

But I couldn't ask for a better kid. All honor roll for the past 2 or 3 yrs. don't get me wrong he still has that streak of teenage running thru him but over all I can't complain. But the ex has made the statement yrs ago that she needs the money. Nothing in reference to wanting him, just the money. I know it would be hard for any parent to give up their child, but I guess it boils down to doing what is best for the child and right mentally, physically, and financially he would be better off with us. But I will keep you posted on the out come.

huggs,
