Okay...I am doing a bit better today. I went home yesterday around 2:00, and laid down. Got up and down...Eric was there, and cooked dinner so I wouldn't have to...bless him. He went home around 5:00. I was glad, though I love and miss him very much I love living alone now...

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

My pdoc just called...she is retiring. This will be my last visit with her on the 5th. I'm so panicking...I love her! Anyway, I can see the other pdoc in practice with her, that I've seen before and he is good too. That just freaks me out.

Okay...breathing.

She said its okay to continue to take Ibuprofen, but she wants me to do a level and we would see about something else if we needed to. She also said COOL on the Topamax, that it would help me on SO many levels...the cycling, the pain, the migraines...so good on that. I'm at 100 mgs now, and I'll probably go to 200 around the end of the month. That's what I was on before.

Wow. I am really going to miss her.

My back still hurts today, but I'm going to work out today at the gym. I do the recumbent bike, do the hills and all, and i can feel it, believe me. But its much easier on my joints. Then I do some weight machines and free weights. It helps me feel better, both mood wise, and physically.

Well, that's my update.

Hope you are all well.

Love,

Keli

Hi Keli! Sounds like things, despite pdoc retirement, are going well for you!! I hate playing the NEXT! game in the t/pdoc department so it's nice you already know her partner and are use to them.

I am taking your example and keeping a proactive mind/agenda. I wish us both Great Luck!!!

Pug hugs, Kelli

Keli,

I'm glad you're feeling better today--pain makes EVERYTHING so much worse.

I'm sorry you're losing your pdoc--I feel the same way about my tdoc and would absolutely freak--I'm glad you're already familiar with someone else in the practice, that should help smooth the transition somewhat.

Keli,
It's great to hear you are in a good mood! :) I hope your back gets better...I'm sure the excersing will help. Sorry to hear about your pdoc. I would be so sad if mine retired...I'm so attached to her. At least there is someone you already know to replace her. It's was uplifting reading your post...keep the positive vibes coming!!!

Hugs,
Renee

Sorry to hear you're still in pain. ((((((((((((Keli)))))))))))))) And it sucks that your pdoc is retiring. But as others have said you at least are familiar with the other doc in the practice, so the transition should be smoother. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I'm also glad you're feeling better today. Hang in there and keep us posted.

Love U,
Traci
