I have been sooo depressed all day. I woke up in the middle of the night with a real bad sinus headache and feeling so depressed. I feel like someone has beat me with a 2x4. I couldn't get out of bed, which means I missed another day of class...I am such a failure!!!!!!

Your life is good and you are NOT a failure!!!! I hope tomorrow is better for you. If it's not maybe you should call your pdoc? I know that doesn't offer much comfort but if your

I swear something is in the air or the water - sickness and depression (myself included) seem to be just teeming everywhere! Know that you are not alone....

I know what you mean. I have just about everything that I could resonalbly ask for and I still end up feeling depressed at some point during the day. I try to find things that may help me somewhat, but I still end up feeling hopeless. For me, its at least once or twice during the day. The thing that helps me during those hopeless moments is to play video games. I rarely like watching movies, but whenever it rains outside, I tend to steer towards those for no reason anyhow. But hey, hang in there. It is not easy. Think of a happy moment with a positive ending, then go into several moments of deep thought, dreaming away while deep breathing. I hope this helps.
