Trying really hard to understand

Hi everyone,
I'm new here. I just spent two years working for a bipolar woman. I quit the job two months ago when her actions became intolerable. At one time we were friends and I unfortunately confided some personal information in her...then I found out that she had spread this information to everyone in my department and beyond. She

Hi and welcome to our board. The symptoms you describe are consistent with bipolar disorder. However, it's impossible for any of us here to say definitely one way or another because we're not doctors. The other side of that is even if it is bipolar she should be seeking treatment and on medication. From your description, it sounds like she is not. If she's not then it's on her for her lack of control and poor behavior. Yes, we want to be understood but we also have to accept responsibility for our actions if that makes sense. So I probably haven't answered your questions, but I just wanted to jump in and say hi and welcome you. I hope you get some better answers.
Hugs,
Traci
I don't know what this is. Some of it sounds like bp, what with the rapidly changing emotions and the staying up til 4, but some of it sounds like she was intentionally being sort of mean. I haven't really met bipolar people who are mean on purpose.
BP explains some erratic behavior. But just because someone has it doesn't mean they can walk all over people.
I'd keep staying away from her.
I must say, it is interesting she is the boss! I haven't encountered too many bipolars in positions of power myself.
Express!
