September is historically a "trigger" month for BPs???
They don't really know why...but its been proven.
Weird, but fitting...we're all just barely getting by right now.

I can understand this since 9/11, but not before unless it's tied in with all the stress/hassles of going back to school/summer ending.
For me December is the BIG trigger month--I'll either go bonkers manic & buy everything in sight or am so darned depressed I can't even get the energy to put up a tree (and I collect X-Mas ornaments); either that or BOTH!
I can believe it. I know I used to have problems when the weather changed from cold to hot, or especially hot to cold. That doesn't happen til November in Arizona, though, where I'm from. At that time in Arizona, the psych wards fill with bipolars.
I now live in a much cooler place (southern Ontario), but I don't seem to have any problems right now, thank goodness.
Express!

I can relate to that. I think it probably has to do with the days getting shorter and the weather getting cooler. Just my thoughts though. I know my birthday falls in September and it's hard for me to get jazzed about it. Maybe that is why.
Love You,
