When I was 1st dx with Bipolar the Pdoc said I was also Schizoaffective. I have put that off because he said I only had that problem when I am deeply depressed. I thought it might have been a one time thing. Ok maybe a 2 time thing. Well in January I had the same problem. I didnt' see the same thing but still I was seeing things I knew were not really there. Well I just talked to my tdoc about it last week or so. I gues I should send them my med record from my 1st Pdoc. Anyway, I looked it up today. Since I really didn't know what it was. I was totally schizoaffective at the time. I can see that. SO...have any of you had this problem or know anyone with it or even know anything about it? Too bad I didn't mention any of this to the Pdoc only the tdoc. I'm not too worried about it since I only have the problem whne i'm majorly depressed. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just lazy not depressed at all. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever feel more than blah. Sometimes I wonder if I will enjoy life. Once I get outta my house I do feel better but its hard to get me outta the house! That is why I love my ds being in preschool. i have to get up and ready 3 days a week plus sundays! now if I only had something to get me outta bed on m t & S!

Hi April,
I don't know much about schizoaffective disorder, but I wanted to stop in and give you some (((((((Hugs)))))))). I definitely would call your pdoc and fill him/her in on the disorder. They might be able to help you feel better. It's great that you're getting out with your little one, but I don't know what to tell you about the other days of the week. Maybe take your little one to the park? Or just out for a nice walk? Just some suggestions off the top of my head.
Thanks! I wish I had somewhere to go online! I will bring it up to him! I see him in 1 1/2 months. If I have any problems before then I will call him for sure. Until then I see my tdoc about every week.
