For anyone on Seroquel

How long did it take for the sleepiness factor to "go away"? I have to be functioning at work. I'm changing my hours to 8:30 to 5:00 instead of 7:30 to 4:00 to accomodate my sleep. Any pointers?

Seroquel is a great med for me, it helps calm my racing thoughts in a major way. But, the sleepiness can be a hindrance to my functioning.

Thanks,

Keli

It took me about 2 weeks or so to get used to it. Then when I did get used to it it didn't help with sleep anymore. You could try taking it at 9pm and see how that helps. Maybe by the time morning comes it won't be too rough on you. But I do know you have to take it everyday so your body can get used to it before the tiredness starts to level off.

Good luck, hon

I am on 400mg a night. But I am the sam as the others. It took a full month, I would say, That I was totally 100% adjusted. I have figured out the best time for me to take it. I take it at about 7pm That way I am pretty much ready for sleep abyt 9:30.
