Don't beat me up too bad :(

First of all, hi! It's been a few weeks since I've shown my face around here, for two reasons--first, I've taken some time off and went on a little vacation with my H (with mixed but ultimately positive results), and second, I've had an unfortunate relapse with xMM. So I'm back to square one and feeling a little (a lot) defeated, but more determined than I've ever felt to stick to NC this time.

So, first he was "separating" and when pressed by you on the imaginary separation, she then conveniently may have "cancer" stemming from those equally convenient "mystery illnesses?"

He is very selfish and very disrespectful towards both you and his wife.

I wouldn't be surprised if his wife's cancer is as nonexistant as his separation. It very well could be just another line to keep you around. Please cut him out of your life for good.

Hey

Stick to the NC - your sanity depends on it with this guy. You say you have positive results with H. Hold onto that and keep moving forward. Don't be manipulated

Silverdoe, is this the same guy who previously lured you back by telling you that his mother was sick and that his grandmother was on her deathbed (and they both turned out to be just fine)?? Give me a break.

And just for the record if I ever did have cancer, the last woman on earth I would want to have "supporting" my H would be an xOW. I'm so glad to hear that you've decided to show his W (and yourself) some respect, by staying the he!l out of their lives once and for all.

You can make this ending stick.

Big hugs

Yes of course, Katniss (and everyone), same guy. Practically everyone he knows is playing a game of musical death chairs, at least in his mind. "It is always something," a fact that he bemoans constantly. I actually don't even know what ended up happening to his mom and grandma; he uses the illness as a way to gain my sympathy and then I just never hear about it again (and he's not going to any funerals, which leads me to believe they're all doing at least relatively well). They may still be sick, he might just be waiting for an opportune time to play those cards.

Hey SD,

Wow what a tosser!!! He will say anything for his hit! I agree with everything that has been said. He is lying, he will continue to manipulate you and as Katniss said, the last person a sick wife would want involved in her personal and awful illness( if true) is the OW!!!

Now how are you blocking him???? He has waaaaay to much access to you!!

why the freak does this guy still have access to you via text and IM? BLOCK ALREADY! That's what true cutting off is. Amazing to me still 9 (almost 10) months into this) how many men use the "my wife has cancer" bshizz. Proud of you for going NC and realizing you do NOT owe it to him to be his "friend". Real friends don't only talk about themselves and their situations.
