Hey all, I used to come to this board a long time ago, and then withdrew from the computer. Now I am back... :)
I am married, SAHM, with two boys, ages five and six. I used to work but BP along with Fibromyalgia just got too difficult to manage and work and raise kids, my dh works nights so I was working all day, coming home crazy stressed out and in pain then trying to deal with two small boys.
Staying at home is difficult for other reasons, but I have my dh during the day to help. It is tough financially, but I just applied for disability, so starting that long uphill battle. Looking into attorneys now, planning on being denied and getting lawyer and if I am approved first off (unlikely)then bonus!
I just got back on insurance after quitting work so I need to find a new doc and get back on meds, things are real up and down right now, a lot of mixed moods, but I don't have the rage I used to go through when I was working, and a lot less hallucinations and delusions.
SO going back to work (especially with the fibro) is not an option. But I am actually enjoying being a SAHM.
Anyway, I will post more later, and I look forward to meeting and talking with you all.
Lisalyanne

Welcome back Lisalyanne!
Taking care of your 2 boys is a full time job. I am sorry your BP and fibro got to you so bad that you had to stop your out of home job. I don't work and I get disability. It is an uphill battle to get the disability but don't give up.
I hope you find a good pdoc and are able to get back on meds so you can start to feel better. At least the hallucinations and delusions are better since you stopped working and the rages. Once you get back on meds things should improve even more.
I look forward to getting to know you better.

Thanks for the links, both boards I do visit. :) And thanks everyone for the replies. I find my bp and fibro can trigger each other, does that happen to you?
Lisa
Yes, when I feel bad physically it can trigger my bp. I deal with soreness and stiffness everyday but the days when I am in a lot of pain I am miserable all the way around. If my bp is under control I deal much better with the physical and can tolorate it better.
