I broke out in another itching episode. It has been 6 days now. I have been on benadryl and Phenergan and putting 2% hydrocortisone cream on all over. I have scratched so hard that I have bruises. I stopped the Adderall, again, it is the only thing I can be allergic to that I can pin point. I stopped the Adderall last thursday and I am still itching. That makes me so upset because it really was helping me. Now that I am off it I am really depressed. I am hoping the pdoc can give me something else, like Ritalin or something.

I looked up Ritalin and it has more of a side effect of itching than Adderall, so I may just not be able to take anything resembling amphetamines...I don't know.

I only got about an hours sleep last night because I didn't take benedryl or anything because I was afraid of not being able to get to school today and concentrate. It was hell all night. I am soooo tired. Now I am depressed too. I hate this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see my tdoc tomorrow but I don't know if pdoc will be there or not. I will talk to my tdoc and see what she wants me to do. I could probably call pdoc from her office if he isn't already there.

I'm just so mad. I finally found something that helps me and I can't take it. I am fed up.

I don't really think its the adderall....not if you stopped taking it last thursday and you are still itching 5 days later.....adderall is meant to get in and get out, so it just doesn't make sense to me...but i'm not a doctor.

Sorry you are going thru this...hope it gets better for you

That is what I was thinking...that adderall gets in and gets out. I can't figure out what it can be. Maybe it is dry skin, but to this extent? I don't know. I use mild soap. I haven't changed anything I use and I haven't started anything new. God, I hope it isn't the Adderall. I love that stuff.

You know what, it just hit me writing, I broke out on my legs a few years back, just like this and had to go to the ER and they gave me steroids, but we didn't know what caused it. Maybe it is some form of dermatitis or something. Whatever it is, I am hating it.

I too had that problem real bad once. It was a week befor my wedding and I had bloody oozy patches that covered my legs. I went to the ER and they gave me a wweks worth of steroids and it was gone. On occasion
I will come across a lotion that will do that to me, I will scratch till I bleed. I use the gold bond medicated ointment and it really hepls. It in a goldish tube. Give it a try cause all the other stuff sucks compared to the gold bond.

I hope it gets better for you soon. I know where you are coming from.
