Today I went to see my GP about my rash and itching, still. She said it isn't the Adderall, but amphetamines do dry out your skin and mucus(sp?) passages. I need to drink A LOT of water and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. I have been doing that, but she said to keep doing it. She gave me cream and pills to take for it. I am hoping it goes away soon. This has been a mystery with this itching. I got my flu shot today. My blood pressure was way up, 149/100. I got my bpressure meds today.

BP wise I am a reck. I am cycling. I have been up and down all day. This morning I was down and then on my way to docs I was up...very up but felt angry and happy at the same time. I felt like I was going to crawl out of my skin. Then I left GP doc and was driving and felt a BIG drop. I went from up to the bottom of bottom. I pulled over in my car. I was crying and felt lost...like I didn't know where I was. Then I was kinda ok..well, I knew where I was anyway, but I felt suicidal. I called tdoc right away, but she's not in on Mondays, I forgot so I got her voice mail. I am waiting for her to call me. I got myself together and went to the pharmacy and got meds filled from GP doc. While I was there I felt better. I looked around at make up and was ok. I am still feeling weird. So, I don't know what the heck is going on.

I haven't been able to study much because of my mood swings and I have a test tomorrow. I am trying to get myself together to start studying soon. I took an Adderall hoping it will help, but after I took it I thought it may not have been a good idea with my mood swings. Who knows. But it is already done.

Hey hon...you hang in there. Actually, when I was in a bad episode, a few times...my pdoc gave me a short (5 day) course of amphetamines to "pick me up". They did make me a bit agitated, but I was so completely suicidal at that time, it was basically a matter of pick your evils.

I hope it helps.

Good luck on the test.

Love you!!

Hey Tina,

Are you taking adderall for bp? I'm bp and take zyprexa. My 15 yr
old daughter takes adderall for adha. Just wondering.
Sorry that you have had a bad few days, just take a deep breath and
try and re group. Sometimes that helps me when I'm manic, or maybe
even take a nap.

Hope you feel better soon

hang in there girl....hopefully the ride will be over soon :o)

I'm glad the itching is not the adderall, I know how much you were liking the effects.

I take Adderall for ADD, not bp, but it does help with the depression part. I like the adderall. I also take Prozac 40 mgs, Lamictal 600mgs, and Lithium 600mgs.

I thought I was the only one that got that feeling, that my skin couldn't contain me....like I am about to fly apart. Also feel for you on the studying part, have had that problem since grade school, but didn't know what was going on back then. Just couldn't make myself study, or flat out didn't give a crap. Hope things get better.

Good luck,
tk
