Traci in northern VA here. Tomorrow the kids and I are going to go see The Santa Clause 3 and then Sunday my DS has his end of season football party and then my mom and I are going to get a new washer.

The weather was nice yesterday and will be nice today and tomorrow but then the temps will drop back down to seasonable (50's) on Sunday.

My mood is better than it has been but still not where I'd like it to be. But it's still early for the a/d to be totally effective so I'm trying to be patient...not one of my strong suits.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Hugs,
Traci

My mood has been unstable since I awoke this morning. I screamed at my 4 year old because he was standing by a set drawers pointing to each one saying "Is it in here? Is it in here?" I snapped "Just OPEN them and CHECK." Then I was fine until about an hour later I was choking back tears at his school. My son looked sad, and it just hit me really hard at that moment. Feeling good now.

I haven't been sleeping much, because when you're the only parent in the house with two small kids, you just don't. Today both kids are at school/daycare, so perhaps I can catch up. My weekend plan is to survive until Monday. With the weather turning, our options for going out are limited. I bought my older son a few more games for his Leapster (educational video system). It certainly isn't my ideal solution to sit him in front of video games, but one must do what one must do. There is a science museum in town that we have not properly visited yet, so I may try that. My older son wants to be a pilot and he's so very into science and learning odd facts that he can regale us with later.

If it snows, I give up! There is a scary looking snow thrower device in the garage that I refuse to touch. Not sure why huge blades are needed to remove snow, but then I haven't given it much thought. If the weather could just do me this one favor and wait until my husband returns....

Kelli in Central FL checking in: Here!
TGIF to everyone! Took awhile but it's here!! I got a bouquet today delivered to my office from my best friend. Just a thank you to me from her for being her friend, wasn't that sweet?!?! She knows I've had a hard time of it lately.
I also talked to this seller on eBay (who turned out to be local) and met her today in an Arby's parking lot (sounds shady, huh?!?) because she had all this Bratz stuff listed (for little girls) and I won one item so didn't have to pay shipping (large item, relieved). Well, she brought a bunch other new in box Bratz items - thank goodness I brought my checkbook! Ended up getting $75 worth of stuff for $15!!!!!! Five items total -Hello Xmas! So I am thrilled from my score, needless to say. I was so Bah Humbug due to lack of funds.
Here's hoping this is just the beginning of an excellent weekend - fingers crossed!
Pug hugs, Kelli

I'm alternating between despair and relief--will probably be like this all weekend until I hear what the appraiser has to say about the value of the house.

Fridays are always good. I always though Friday afternoon is the adult version last day of school before summer, it lasts forever!

I have family in town so I will be with them. They went to Disneyland today. I didnt go. In the state I am in, the crowds would have sent my irritation and anxiety levels through the roof.

I have a hockey game tomorrow. Once again the crowds thing but if I have one drink I should be fine. I bought the tickets before I really started feeling bad otherwise I wouldnt go but I am going with family.

I hope everyone has a good weekend. Anyone have a long weekend for Veteran's Day? I should go visit my dad's grave since he was a vet from the Vietnam war but I am not sure I could handle it now.

Hi everyone! Today was a busy one for me. We had a field trip in school for the morning (fun except for the bus ride: listening to 31 5-10 year olds singing camp songs for 2 hours of travel is kind of grating on my nerves). Then, after work, we had someone come over to give us an estimate to do some work in our bathroom so we signed up to get that done. Then, ds had a soccer game tonight.

Saturday and Sunday the only thing we have planned is that ds' last soccer game is Sat. and then he has a end of season party. I'm hoping to get some "girl time" in with dd. We like to go out to lunch or dinner then walk around the mall. Other than that, the weekend is open. Maybe mow the lawn the last time and rake some leaves.

Oh, I hope to get my wireless router fixed, too. I can't connect to the internet off my laptop right now and a neighbor may come over and try to fix it for me.

I guess that's all for our family...nothing really exciting, just things that need to get done.

Take care,
Peg
