I can't stand it!

Feel free to chip in at anytime...

I cant stand it when:

1. I tell friends why I am off of work or the reason they notice certain changes in me and with some of them they say well why dont you get enough sleep and take some herbs. You can choose to be happy. I wish I could do those things. I have several blessings in my life, more than other people in the world have and yet I am not happy. This makes me feel guilty which only worsens the depression problem. Another favorite of mine is well you seemed normal. Well of course I dont put my feelings out in a world that doesnt understand. What am I supposed to do? Stand up and say I want to commit suicide and this is how I want to do it? Not!

2. Being in a crowd of people when I have high anxiety or irritation.

3. People who do not answer e-mails. I finally e-mailed my ex to get some closure with all the things we went through, do you think he e-mail me back? No. If he thinks I am making a ploy to get him back, he better think again. The only way I would consider going back would be if he asked me to marry him and that will not happen since I am supposedly so unimportant in his life that after a year he doesnt even bother to text me and wish me a happy bday, which he did last year after we did break up.

4. The feeling of someone squeezing my heart.

Ok I want to hear what other people have vents about. :)

1. I can't stand professors who have some sort of Don Quixote-like fixation on being the "gatekeepers" of their professions. This to some might seem noble when they put impossible demands on their students, but apparently they weren't listening in their economics classes when the Law of Diminishing Returns was discussed.

2. I can't stand workplace politics, which is much worse in the arts because of the scarcity of jobs.

3. I can't stand this world in which there is a lot of talk about how great differences in people are, but the truly different people are persecuted unless they can somehow manage to become rich and powerful.

OK, I'll admit I'm a little down this evening. I'll shut up now...

Express!

I definately cant stand workplace politics. They seem to show up in every job I've had. Maybe that says something about me though.

A big rasberry to work place politics....I used to think it was me also, but when EVERYONE else in the place is having the same issues with the same person it is pretty obvious I'm not the problem.
