Hey everyone!!!!
Long time, no type I know. Things here are still going well. The Air Force has involunterly extended our assignment here for 12 months. Instead of 2 more deployments before we leave, Rick is looking at 3 or more depending on length. Lovely huh? They have changed their minds about when they will leave

Cyn,

I'm glad to hear from you and that things are going well, despite the military's ever-changing game.

Sympathize with ya on the AF doing there thing....back when I was in, they handed me a SWEET assignment and then as soon as I had signed extension paperwork to rotate back stateside (haha, they called Alaska overseas), they changed my assignment to the armpit of the AF....and then came Hurricane Andrew, but that wasn't the AF's fault.

Sorry about the extra deployments, but I do appreciate what your DH does for the country and feel for what you have to go through with the deployments. I'm not much into prayer, but fervently hope nothing befalls you DH as he goes into harms way so the rest of us can sit back here and B**** about how screwed up things are....sorry, one of my little soap box issues. BTDT and realized the military life was not for me....gave me one heck of a good training background to springboard into some good jobs though. Tell DH to stay safe and keep his head down and remember the old military adage, "Don't volunteer for anything". LOL.

Nice looking family and like Donna said, the time flies....I still can't believe DS is 16 and only about a half to an inch shorter than me and he is not done growing by a LONG shot. Keep safe yourself and use your support system during the deployments.
