Well...after 6 days of very above average temps (in the 60's) we are now in a winter storm warning...oh how I love the midwest !!!

If they are correct, we are getting anywhere from 6-10 inches between 3pm today and noon tomorrow.

Today is going to hit about 68 and sunny. Then tomorrow will drop to 60. Saturday is supposed to be a high of 45 and Sunday a high of 36. I don't know if we will get any snow or not, probably not. Hopefully the snow passes you by, Donna.

Brrrr - That's why I left the upper midwest in the first place! Altho down here in Colorado we've just been hit by a major storm, dumping 2ft of snow in the mountains and 6-8" on the plains. Temps have plummeted to below zero (fahrenheit). It's déja vu all over again.

It is 80's and humid during the day with 60's at night. I could use it a little more cooler and drier to help with the holiday spirit.
I've lived in snow before and I hated driving in it. Or rather pushing/rocking the back of the car in it repeatedly!! LOL!!!

Pug hugs, Kelli

I SURE hope you miss the ice that proceeded our storm--not near as bad as about 5 years ago, but hard enough to drive in.

yeah, must be one of those storms they just weren't sure about....they wouldn't even talk about measurement until last night.

Here in southern Ontario, it has been unseasonably and enjoyably warm (up to the mid 60s), but tonight we are getting the storm system that hit you today. We will get snow by the end of the week. I don't mind- it's getting through January that is traditionally nasty in this region.

Express!

It was the same storm....it is also the same one that came through the panhandle of TX and dumped snow here....not sure of totals, but the wind was blowing 20 to 30 mph so had near white out conditions and flatlanders that STILL haven't figured out how to drive in this stuff. Took a vacation day myself. By the time it was all said and done, there was some 4 foot drifts in places. I know, not much for ya'll further north, but that is note worthy here in the high plains.
