Big changes coming

I am going in for surgery January 30th. This is for weight loss surgery. I am having the lapband done. This is a big step for me. I have been working on this process for a few months now and I have researched all this for a year. Now that the time is here I am nervous and excited at the same time. I am being weaned off my bipolar meds because I can't take pills for awhile after my surgery. I may get liquids for a couple

it's always good to talk about off topic things now and again, especially this one.
I think its great, you will do awesome !
God could not be everywhere, so
Tina,
This is a BIG step and I am so proud and envious of you!!!!
(((((((((((((((((((Tina)))))))))))))))))))) I wish you all the best with the upcoming surgery. I know how scary it can be. But you are looking at the positives that will come from it which is the best way to go about it. You will feel better once it's done and who knows, maybe your moods will even out as a result:) I'm glad your BF is being supportive. That is so important. I wish I had some input on the meds. But unfortunately I don't. I have enough trouble with those my ownself. LOL. But I'm sure your docs will be able to work something out so that you aren't without the ones you need for too long.
Hang in there and keep us posted on how you're doing. Big ((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))) to you.
Hugs
Marci,
You can go on obesityhelp.com. This site is great ! It has so much information and a message board where I got and still get a lot of information and support. There is information on several types of weight loss surgeries on there. I know for the lap band I am getting it requires a high protein diet. I will eat mostly beef, chicken, seafood, tuna, and other fish first then I eat fruits and veggies

Thank you Donna ! I know I can count on you always. I am working so closely with all these docs that I almost feel related to them...lol
I now have a pdoc, tdoc, nutritionist and weight loss surgeon, urologist, and a PCP...geesh
Love you
Tina

Hi Traci,
I am glad you are feeling better. I hope you continue to. Thanks for the support. You are so good hearted.
I will let everyone know my progress with this journey.
I am sure my pdoc will keep me straight with the bp meds.
Now I can honestly say, I truely want to be a BIG loser...LOL
Love & Hugs
