I do have a question that hopefully some of you ladies on here can help me with...
Does you BP(without meds) seem to spike, either way, when your PMSing? Or is it just me?
Because, wow, that's the one thing that has always had me wondering.....it's like sometimes I just can't control my anger, i just wanna lay in bed all day long and sleep......
TIA!
Vanessa

Even women who don't have bipolar and are PMSing can get angry and irritable so the answer is yes when you are PMSing with or with out meds you can 'spike' in your moods. Meds usually help control that so if you are not on meds I would talk to a pdoc about getting some. Why suffer when you don't have to, right?

Hi Vanessa. I would agree with Tina. Your moods can definitely be affected by pms. When I was depressed, my depression would bottom out during the times I had pms. I also had rage issues that would go out of control then too. I haven't experienced pms during my stable state so I'm not sure how that will affect me now. But both my tdoc and pdoc agree with me because I asked them once I figured out the coincidence between the two. So I would talk to your pdoc and maybe y'all can come up with something med wise that will help you out during that week. Good luck and keep posting:) Hang in there. It DOES get better! I'm glad to be able to say that finally, but it's true.
Hugs,
