I see a therapist who works with me on CBT and yes it does work, but I will be up front with you. YOU have to work hard at changing. No one can do it for you. Your therapist can give you direction and ways to cope but you have to put it all in action. I know it has helped me. I think a lot more positive than I used to and I also count my blessings more and think how much better off I am then some other people. Yes, I still have bipolar and yes I still have problems that can get me down but learning ways to cope and think more positive helps get you through and feel better. Good luck and I would give it a try if I were you. Remember though it can take a little time, but for me it works.
