My mom caution.poss. "triggers"

HI all. Well most of you know me by listening to me rant about how my hubby threw me a curve by saying he was bi-polar. My mom was as well. SHe died in december, unnattended death. We had no answers, but while we were at her house, things didnt seem "right". She was insuling dependednt and had to check her sugar several times a day. THere was food there that mom had prepared to eat, but not eaten. Foods she had not eaten for about 3 years because of her diabetes. Her glucometer showed no testing for several days before she was found. THere was no open insulin. ( she had used the last of it at our house the week before)
anyway, after she got home, she had found out her battery was dead. we didnt know anything about it till we tried to start her car and then talked to the neighbor. So after going over her journals, and everything else.. I have come to think this...
she had agreed to let me move her closer to us. she got home, she could not go anywhere and instead of calling me to come fix it, she let it get to her. For her that would have kicked her into a cycle ( is that the right term?). I think that she didnt think about doing her insulin, forgot what she could not eat, didnt let her dog outside, had not even unpacked anything from her trip, except some nicknacks that I had got her while she was here.
Her journal said she had a cold as soon as she got home, I think her house had mold, her O2 tank had not been unpacked. THere was cold medicine that she wasnt suppose to take etc..
Does anyone else when cycling kind of blank out on what normal activities are suppose to be done?
Maybe Im grasping at straws, but Im just trying to find out what happened to my mom. ANy info would help.. thanks and big huggssss to everyone..susie
