Hey everyone. I'm finally up at home with cable internet, so I thought I'd say hi. I hope everyone is doing okay. I'm still doing great. Still on meds, always will be. But only Lithium and Lamictal. Its been amazing being stable for so long...I've had some triggers, but they didn't do much to my BP. I've gained weight (bummer) but my stability is much more worth it to me than that.

Work is going great, and my ds is doing well too. My dh and I are back together and things are awesome.

I've not been a bit manic and only a tiny bit depressed (usually hormonal). I don't ever ever want to go back to that again. I've stayed away from stress, and drama and chaos and its made a huge difference in my life.

So...someone talk to me! I've missed you guys.

Things are really bad around here right now, im not depressed or manic just so freaking anxious that i have panic attacks over doing the laundry....so its bad. Anyways, I am glad you are back!

((((Keli)))) Good to see you back!

I'm glad things are looking up for you.

I'm still having the weekly (give or take) episodes, but they're not severe thankfully.

I am very happy to hear things are going good for you right now.
My SO recently 'came out' to me, not of his own accord. HOwever he can not get in to see anyone till the end of the month. So , the rocovery really has not started yet. He was on meds years before we met, but they werent right for him. Instead of going back, he quit taking them altogether.
My mom passed in december, she was bi-polar. I was very proud of her and what she accomplished with the NAMI program and trying to change the stigmatism of mental illness. My DD who is 17 is showing signs as well.
I am very glad to hear that it seems you have a good support system with your spouse and family.. keep us posted!

Hey Marci!

Its good to be back around those who know me better than most. I talked to Traci once or twice and she filled me in on her work stuff...it does just plain suck.

Its nice to be "okay" again...I did hang in there, and it took years and years...but I learned a TON of lessons...Never again will BP beat me.

I would love to see pics of Bryan...I know you're proud!

Hi there! BP is all over my family...on both sides actually. It took me many many years of C-R-A-P to get to where I am today. BP almost killed me, literally...and it took hitting rock bottom about a million times, and finally having a pdoc stand up to me and FORCE me to get off anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds for me to finally become stable. It wasn't easy, as I'm sure you have much experience with.

My prayers are with your dh, and you, and all your family. My ds is almost 17 too...

Hope to talk to you soon!

Hugs,
