Add me to the depressed list

I thought my bp was under control. Not so, at least recently.

Last Februrary, I was depressed for a long time and added a small amount of Prozac to my usual meds. It started to work after awhile. Things were good in March. I was looking for work, and working with job counselors, etc. I was really making progress. Then, they had to switch my meds, because I ran out of Geodon and could not buy it in Canada, so they put me on a combo of Zyprexa and Topomax. That turned out to be too much, so they discontinued the Zyprexa. Since then, I have had little energy, and have been tired and depressed. I don't put a lot of work into finding work. I have become lazy. This has to stop! HELP!

Express.

I know exactly how you feel. I have been on a rollercoaster of medication changes since December. I was put on Effexor to help with depression in December (in addition to my Depakote). The very next visit the pdoc took me off - said I was headed for an up swing. They increased the Depakote (which just keeps me steady at a very low mood). Now I am experiencing GI tract problems because of Depakote and the pdoc just put me back on Effexor last week. I'm very tired of all the medication changes and side effects...I'm trying to be responsible and do the right thing by taking the meds, but I'm temped to jump off this rollercoaster. Hang in there.

(((((Beth))))),

That sucks you can't get it in Canada--so much has been talked about US folks getting meds from Canada, is there any way you could get it in the reverse from somewhere in the states--or are the laws more strict on incoming stuff.

Job hunting is enough to make anybody depressed.
