Just wanted to let you know, in case you were worried. =o)
I'm doing lots better and I'm glad I went in.
The doctor says I had a mixed episode and thus am really Bipolar I and not II. Egad!
Yeah, my house is a mess. But I think I can handle it in a day or two.
Thanks for all the concern positive thoughts and hugs. They're really appreciated.

It seems like the i/p helped...did you think it did? At least they know now you are BP1 and not BP2 and can treat it better. Did they put you on different meds or make any adjustments?

I am glad you got help and your house will need cleaning all the time but you need to take care of yourself and I am glad you did by going i/p. I know that took alot of courage. I am proud of you.

How are things going now?

Hugs,

Tina

Yes, going i/p was very helpful. I'm glad went. Plus, I got some much needed rest. Yes, they totally revamped my meds. They switched me from Lithium to Lamictal (they said Lithium doesn't work well with rapid cycling or mixed episodes); Welbutrin to Lexapro; Upped my Invega from 6mg to 9 mg; and decreased my Remeron from 60mg to 30 mg. Oh, and they added Klonipin .5 mg for this constant keyed up feeling I've been having. Not sure it's working that well. I'll talk to the PDoc on the 7th to see if it needs to be increased.

Thanks for your words of encouragementm I appreciate them.

I was just sitting here thinking that I feel so much better: clear headed, much improved mood, and all around saner. Going i/p was definitely good for me. I'm enjoying my children for the first time in a long time.

Of course, now I feel my self slipping the other direction. O for the day I'm stable!
