Things are starting to turn around for the better! I actually started back to work yesterday after my long hiatus!!! I got the call on Thursday saying I could return on Friday:) Yippee! All of my students were very pleased to see me back as much as I was pleased to see them!
DD is evening out now after pdoc adjusted her meds the other day, so that's another good thing. I just hope the adjustment sticks:)
Now the only things left on list of things to do list are to get my yard into shape, deal with xh, and get my reckless driving charge taken care of. I wrote a letter to the judge for the reckless driving court and pleaded my case.
I'm hoping to hear back from him before my hearing date. Otherwise I'll have to take another unpaid day off from work. Not looking forward to that. But the clerk I spoke with said when I called that reckless driving charges have to appear but I could try sending the letter. So here's hoping it works.
Dealing with my xh is yet another task that I'm not sure on which way to go. I could take him back to court because that way I could get not only the child support he owes me for but also the medical bills he owes me for. Or, I could go through the state and settle for just the child support and still have to take him to court over the medical bills issue. Either way, I still have to take him to court so I'm not sure on which way to go on that one.
Getting the yard into shape isn't such a daunting task. All it needs is a good mowing. DD (14) said she'd do it. I just have to start it for her. She said that there is a problem with the pull start cord. So I might have to take it in to be repaired. But I do have a neighbor who does small engine repair so I might be able to get him to do it for free:) I've always said it pays to know people.
So, things are finally looking up. I've still got some issues to deal with but at least I'm back to work and dd is stable. Those were the most pressing issues at hand, so I'm happy!
Hugs,
Traci

I'm so glad to hear the news about the job--it's D.... time!
