We will most likely be doing yard/garden work as DH has the day off.

We were hoping to cookout (just DD, Bryan & me)--was going give Bryan his 1st hamburger (Bryan sized, of course) although he probably won't touch it-LOL.

We have plans to go to a friends cookout but if that falls through we are cooking out here at home and hopefully if it doesn't rain we can see some fireworks.

I hope it doesn't rain so you all can see the fireworks. I hope Bryan has fun seeing them. Let me know if he eats his little hamburger...lol

Our neighbors set off fireworks too even though they are illegal.

Marci,

We got rained out. How did the 4th go for you? Our neighbors did some real nice fireworks though so it wasn't a total flop. They did the fireworks in Washington D.C but we didn't want to go that far with that big of a crowd. So we stayed home. It was a nice evening though.

Did Bryan get his little hamburger?

It settled down to a light rain by 6P, so we managed to get the food cooked and sat on the deck watching the neighborhood stuff doe a while.

Kids can be picky eaters. Watch when he is older he will eat you out of house and home..lol

I am glad we don't have a number of trash bag limit in our neighborhood. I think that would make it hard to keep the neighborhood clean at anytime of year.

I have to see if they are going to do the fireworks at another time. Maybe I can catch them then.

I can't believe Bryan is almost a year old already. It seems like he was just born. Time flies.

Ain't that the truth....when DD and DS get on growth spurts, don't put anything in the fridge or the pantry you want to keep for yourself. DS is 16 and DD just turned 9 and she can give him a run for his money on eating when she is growing....I don't know where she puts it either, she is standard size for my side of the family (read rail thin) and I swear can put away her weight in food when she is growing.
