I have a weird problem. Lately my lower jaw starts spasms whenever I read or try to talk. The spasms are so pronounced they are affecting my speech. Basically I can't get more then two sentences out before I start stuttering almost violently. The words just won't come out. But if I am watching TV, or just sitting around without talking they stop. Immediately. Like last night I was trying to read the final Harry Potter book and the spasms would start the instant I started reading the words but the second I took my eyes off the book and looked at the TV they would stop. The only way I can read now is to read a sentence look up rest a moment and repeat. t's driving me nuts! Also my vision seems to have changed, especially my night time vision. I nearly ran off the road the other night. I am wondering if my meds may be doing it. I just started Wellbutrin a few weeks ago. Has anyone heard of it causing anything like that? I am wondering if I should see my pdoc or a neurologist (I am not having any headaches though) or just wait it out and see if it goes away on it's own? Anyone had this trouble before?

Jodie,

First, I would call your pdoc and ask him about the Wellbutrin and if that could be causing it. If he says no then make an appointment with a neurologist to see what could be causing the twitches. I do know some meds can do this. I, however, never had this happen with Wellbutrin with me, but meds do different things to different people.

Let us know what happens. Good luck, hon
