Hey Jazz, (((((HUGS)))))
Sorry to hear about your bad day/night. It is frustrating sometimes to deal with office personel who think they are better then everyone else and know EVERYTHING.
Have you talked to your therapist about the anxiety? Have you ever tried anti-anxiety meds? I just started Xanex in a form you can stick under your tounge and is very fast acting. This was becasue I was going into a potentily extremely stressful situation last weekend. Anyway an anti-anxiety med you can take as needed might help.
About the prescription. You should be able to call the Dr. office and have them call in a prescription to your pharmacy.
Also I know about the shortage of PDOCs and TDOCs. Where I live I have to drive 2 1/2 hours to take my DD to a pediactric neurologist. Now he is not going to be taking our insurance anymore so I will either have to pay up front and be reimbursed (big pain and they take their sweet time in sending it) or drive 6 hrs to a LARGE city. So yes I know about the shortage of all kinds of doctors.

Hi, Brenda.
I'm sorry you had to go through this. I've been looking for a pdoc in Buffalo recently, and I passed right by one office that had a rude receptionist, choosing instead an office with a nice one. I'd heard of the pdoc she put me with, too.
Express! And here's hoping for good treatment for us all!

I totally understand. At times
Thanks for your reply.
Welcome to the board, I'm glad you found us and SO sorry about the incident that brought you out of lurkdom, but still glad you decided to de-lurk!
It sucks having to change pdocs/tdocs when you've found one you really like and to lose both in one swoop is just horrible without having to deal with all the additional bureaucratic BS.
