I could probably tell my pdoc I'm going to go jump off the James River bridge and he'd just say "that's nice.

Hi Jenn,

I have to travel an hour to see my pdoc too and all my other docs. It can be a hassle sometimes but for me it is worth it. I hope you are doing well.

Hi,

I have no problem with the drive to doctors, as long as I am getting the help I need I agree it is well worth it.

I just hate that I have to rely on others a lot of the time to drive me, tht can be the pain to me, they say they don't mind but......

HI Jodie! I can sooooo relate to what you are going through. I too sometimes think that people are following me in the car, but I am the opposite it scares me. I also am a speed freak when I am manic and really don't care what others say or do about it...only when I am manic though. I don't think about getting pulled over by the cops and talking fast and being animated when I'm manic...the cop would probably think I am on speed or something and arrest me. Speeding is dangerous and from one manic person to another it could be fatal. My experience with three different pdoc has been very different. The first two couldn't care less and the one I have now is very caring, takes her time with you to see what is happening in your life. The only bad part is that you have to wait hours to see her. But, she really is great to me so there are others like that out there I'm sure. I hope you get help soon and just know that we are here to encourage you whenever you need it. Take Care!
