Really??? he does not like the yogurt???? usually plain yogurt is so much tastier than the flavored one...
why not try the plain full fat one - I used to find also in big container, but it is so yummy that your baby will love it - if needed, with a spoonful of honey in. The extra fat should not make a huge difference in the baking, you will still save a lot of fat comparing with oil...
otherwise, you can use the yogurt as a dip (adding parsley, garlic, salt, lemon), to make tzatziki (with thinly cut cukes, garlic and mint), mixed with tandoori paste, garlic and lime juice it also makes a great marinade for chicken (then, grill on hot). All this works for plain full fat best, but would also work with plain low-fat...

I make smoothies with nonfat plain yogurt.
1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 banana and a handful
of blueberries with a splash of lemon juice.
Sugar or splenda is optional; I usually
skip it. A few spins in the food chopper
or blender and it's smooth.

RASPBERRY FROZEN YOGURT

1 cup of fresh raspberry puree
2 cups of plain yogurt
1/3 cup of honey

This is another 5-minutes-to-mix favorite. Buzz up
some raspberries in a blender, add the yogurt and
honey, chill the mixture for 2 hours, churn it in
your ice cream maker, and enjoy! You can also modify
this recipe to prepare blueberry, blackberry,
strawberry, or even banana frozen yogurt.

FRESH PEACH FROZEN YOGURT

1/3 cup of fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
2-1/2 cups of plain yogurt
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Combine all the ingredients, chill them for 2 hours,
and then churn the confection. Light, fresh, and
creamy, this frozen yogurt is bound to be one of your
favorites.

Take undiluted orange juice, maybe a teaspoon per 1/2 cup serving,
put in a pretty dessert dish, mix it up and top with cut up orange or peaches.
A small dollop of cool whip and some cinnamon sprinkles,
Voila!!
Simple, delish and you'll be asking for seconds.
You can also experiment with other undiluted juices and jellos to add variety.

Plain yoghurt is also perfect for a breakfast eggnog
or afternoon pick me up.

In your turbo blender, whip up your milk until frothy.
pour into serving glass, or add beaten egg and yoghurt
and sweetener and lightly beat until mixed
add a dash
of nutmeg or cinnamon on top

Yum!!

Soft fruits can also add variety.

Spoon individual portions of flavored applesauce or mixed fruits.

Another idea is to add different flavored jello with fruit geled in.

You can mix it with jello powder, it makes for a good dessert.

Since it is a plain yoghurt you can do a lot of cold sauces and salad dressings.

It looks like my favorites have been listed already!

I love smoothies! And what a yummy and easy way to use the yogurt! My favorite ingredients are strawberries, banana (this is where some of my frozen 'banana slugs' go!), apple juice and yogurt! Sometimes I'll add other berries...

Salad dressing is a good idea too! But I do have to admit, I do sour cream for most of my ranch dressings..
(The BF and I don't use mayo much, plus we don't use buttermilk for antying else, nor would I eat that huge amount of ranch before the stuff would expire! And, when using the instant powdered ranch packets, they are so so salty! So I take just enough of the powder and add it to some sour cream.. whoa-la! salad dressing and chip dip in one! *grin*)

I also like cereal or granola with plain yogurt and honey on top!
