Flour confusion (what's new?)

Sorry I've been MIA lately.

So, I bought another cookbook on Friday. I couldn't resist!! It has (over) 365 bread recipes. Some are specifically for bread machines!

I've always wanted to make bread, but I just don't know much about breads..and I'm not willing to experiment too much with it yet.

This cookbook has tons of yummy looking recipes. All (that I've skimmed over so far) are quite easy to follow and look easy to make. But I don't understand some of the flour types. The biggest confuser at the moment is: strong plain white flour. Is that just regular flour? There are other types of flour too, but I think I understand them. If not, quess where I'll be posting? :)

Also, how is "easy blend dried yeast" any different than.. "yeast"?

I'll definitely remember that the next time I am in Sweden (or Estonia..I'm sure they have it too!)

I will also go look in the store 'Stockmann' next time I am there shopping.. I found that they have the muscovado brown sugar!!! I was so excited and had no one to share it with.. I think if I would have started doing a little dance or babbling at some stranger they would have called the cops. *snicker*
. o O (poor Finns...)

Or you could come over here this summer and I could serve you dinner and you could have some nice days in Sweden, getting feed all kinds of weird stuff.

Then when you go home we could give some much flour that you could carry ..

I also had nice brown sugar Happening for me, I found the old time "wet" brown sugar again!! Dano sugar has started making it the old way and it so moist and nice and I am in love with it!!
